Interview again.

i have decided to call it a day as i am really not happy about my boss in the company , who happened to be the owner too. Started my job hunt in March and i want to go back to mfg line again as it is the most suitable for my years of experience practising in this field.

I am sending out mails to job advertiser / friends / ex colleagues to ask for help to search. And today went for my first interview at West Spore through the contact of my ex colleague, an oil and gas co. They received my resume last week , and refused to send a job description. I am awared that their package is lucrative too, so decided to go without insist to find out more about the match.

And after 1 hr of self introduction and chit chat, the interviewer said my experience is not what they want. They prefer more relevant experience. I wasted an hour and half day leave taken. Wondering why they do not want to read the resume earlier, is not it obvious i do not have their product experience if this is what they want. Their job scope is really beyond my knowledge but would you find the exact fit ? Isnt it the reason why we need training ? I am not that pleased with the reason the interviewer gave but i just shook his hand and left. I do not believe i cannot find a job in Spore.

Albino

When we were soaking in the pool, a family past by and one of the boy was an Albino.
McDull : They have a cute baby with its hairs all standing up , its brother is an Albino.
Darby: He can come out now ( under the sun ) ?
McDull : You mean they cannot come out in the past ? But i saw them before in public.
Darby (Burst into laughters non stop) : I mean they can come out under the sun at this hour.
McDull : Why they cannot ?
Darby : They lack of melanin pigment , sun light is not good for their skins and eyes.
McDull (blushed) : Can you dun tell others that i do not know this ?
Darby : No, i won tell , i will blog it.

He he he he.. The cutest pig in the world.

Fall sick again.

I am suffering from my nasal infection again for the past 2 weeks, a chronic disease i sufferred since i was in Shenzhen due to the bad air, and my stay in Shanghai made it worst. Now i am back to Singapore, it religiously relapses every year once as if it has a clock ticking by itself. I still cannot find the pattern and the reason why it relapses causing me fever and headache , besides blocked aching nose and sore throat, the consequences is very costly to me. I spent a thousand sin for the diagnosis and the medicine. In the future, no more endoscan and CT scan. Next time just give me the medicine, stupid me. I am just healthier than i thought , as it is just another relapse, not something else.

After the check up at specialist, Porky and i went for a book shop tour for Haruki Murakami s books along Orchard, he took great care of me for the past 2 weeks. I cannot ask for more, he has spent much time and effort to take care of me when i was sick, bought me dinner, did my laundry, tidy up the place, took me to a doctor. With 4 years of toil at China, i definitely sufferred alot damages to my health, and Porky is helping me to recover bit by bit. He is definitely a blessing to me.

We began from Borders as it s said closing down soon, i do not feel connected to this book store but i love to have more book stores as Singapore definitely needs more . i bought Scott Fitzgerald s " The Great Gatsby" and "Tender is the night". i read "The Great Gatsby" about 8 years ago, it is a book worth reading and definitely a classic, and i will start to read " Tender is the night" soon.

Then we went to Kinokuniya and HMV checking for Haruki Murakami s books, Porky has turned into a Murakami fanatic recently, he just want to buy everything from him without looking at his budget. "1Q84" is having book 1/2/3, and it is not cheap to buy all Murakami s books at once if at regular price. I seldom see him reading, he is definitely not a reader for the past 8 years, i read more. But it is good to see him start to read, as too much tv will turn a person into senile.
